Event Rentals

The Wilderness Fitness and Coworking has an incredible private area to host your next meeting, private event, or holiday party. This Uptown Minneapolis event rental space has multiple rooms totaling 2000sq ft, a sound system throughout, and many other amenities.

**Standard Private Event Rentals include access to the four rooms listed below.

Monday - Thursday Private Event rates begin at $150/hr

Friday - Sunday Private Event rates begin at $200/hr
 ( 4 hour minimum)


Our Lounge space features gorgeous 12ft ceilings, rustic natural wood floors and a small stage in the corner perfect for speakers, musicians, or instructors. This Private Event space can be dressed up with a variety of furniture options to meet the needs of your group. The Lounge also includes a Sonos S1 sound system, privacy curtain, and designated restroom.

Kick your event off with a genuine speakeasy experience. This speakeasy bar seats 15 people comfortably and includes sink, Sonos S1 sound system, smart TV, and 4 taps. It's the perfect spot for a unique celebration or holiday party in Minneapolis!

Our theater space is the perfect location for your next movie premier, presentation, or lecture. This private event space features 40 red theater seats salvaged from the historic Uptown Theater. The theater comes equipped with a projector, sound system, apple tv / HDMI hookup, dvd player, microphone / speaker, and a mini popcorn machine. It's also perfect for Karaoke or setting up a gaming console!


Game Room

Add an element of play to your private event! Our Game Room features a ping pong or pool table and a retro Multi-cade Arcade system with 55 vintage free-play arcade games (including Galaga, Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, Dig Dug, BurgerTime and more)!

  • What are your hours/rates to book the space for an event or meeting?
    Hourly rentals are available on weekdays (Monday - Thursday) and weekends (Friday - Sunday). Hourly rates begin at $150 / hr for weekdays and $200 / hr for weekends for base usage of the space. There is no hourly rental minimum.
  • Can I pop in today to see the spaces?
    Please click the button below to book an onsite or virtual tour of our space. Tours are by appointment only and are based on team availability. A team member will provide an onsite tour and answer any questions you may have about Private Event rental. Virtual tours are also available upon request - please make a note when booking to request a virtual tour!
  • Can I come early to set up for my event?
    Please include time for setup and clean-up within your rental reservation time.
  • Is clean-up included in my rental?
    Renters are responsible for the general clean-up of the space within their rental time.
  • Can I add extra time to my rental once I’m onsite?
    Absolutely! As long as there is not a conflict with another booking we are happy to add time to your reservation. Time added after your event has started will be charged at your standard hourly rate. If you decide to add time, please text or call us so we can confirm availability.
  • Do you have a required caterer or can I hire my own? Are there any restrictions?
    We do not have any restrictions on catering. You are welcome to bring your own food or hire a caterer of your choice.
  • Are there any beverage restrictions?
    You are welcome to bring alcohol for private consumption during your event. Sale of alcohol is not allowed.
  • Can I bring my own decorations?
    Absolutely! We have several vendor recommendations available for private event and holiday party decor! You’re welcome to decorate the space however you would like. Please note that decorations that may cause damage to any surfaces or leave any residue are not permitted.
  • Do you have projectors, smart TVs, whiteboards, or a microphone that I can use?
    Yes, we have a high-definition projector in our theater, 2 smart TVs, a Sonos sound system, a microphone, and a mobile whiteboard that are available for use.
  • Where do I park?
    A dedicated parking lot is not available on-site at The Wilderness Fitness & Coworking, but there is ample free street parking available nearby. A few easy options for free street parking include: DuPont Ave S, Colfax Ave S, and W 29th Street. Please note that the CVS parking lot is not a dedicated lot for use. Several paid parking ramps are available nearby on Lake St.
  • Is there a minimum number of hours required for rental reservations?
    We do not have a minimum number of hours required for weeknight bookings. Weekend bookings must be a minimum of three hours.
  • How far in advance do I need to book the space?
    While not required, we suggest booking at least 30 days prior to your desired date(s). Please note that Holiday Party's in Minneapolis book out roughly 3 - 6 months in advance. Check availability with our team at
  • Is there any furniture available for use?
    Available for use: - 60 Black folding/stackable chairs - 7 Wood high-top long tables - 14 matching stools - 4 Black cafe tables - 4 White cafe tables - 11 red theater stools - 3 Round high-top tables - 2 Couches - Ping pong OR pool table available, please request your preferred option prior to event - Christmas tree available upon request for Holiday Party's
